?This year, on March 17th, not only will I be celebrating my birthday with my new love (my bike) and new biker friends. I will also be riding in the Black Dog Ride, which aims to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention. This cause hits home hard for me personally and for many people I know. Depression sucks. Especially when you’re all alone.. that’s when the Black dog really attacks hard and many people loose the battle?
Love, compassion and kindness can go a long way in tough times. Connecting with people can be so hard when you are already struggling.. but it’s so important. Look after yourself, but don’t forget the people around you. It’s not selfish to put yourself first sometimes, but we need to be careful not to take it too far.. everyone needs to be cared for and valued. Reach out and be there for each other. We are stronger together ❤️?
